The local knowledge
Borgin & Burkes deals in Dark magical objects on the less reassuring side of the wizarding shopping district. Harry arrives there accidentally after a mishap with Floo powder. The shop’s unsettling stock makes it clear that magical shopping can involve rather more than schoolbooks and new robes.
Our interpretation
Our ornate sign draws on the atmosphere of a mysterious antiques business. Its decorative treatment is a fan-inspired interpretation of the shop.
